Founder and President of the Bipartisan Policy Center delivered what was intended to be a political plan to reign in the upward moving costs of healthcare and incentivize value-based care models.
Former Senate Majority Leaders Tom Daschle and Bill Frist, as well as former Senatebudget Committee Chairman Pete Domenici all signed the report A Bipartisan Rx for Patient-Centered Care and System-Wide Cost Containment (PDF), in hopes of providing guidance and recommendations around technology strategy and implementation.
“There is no fiscal solution that doesn’t involve healthcare,” said Michael Peterson, president and CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
